Daaaang!! These lights get hot! Is this normal?
I just put lights on our Christmas tree. The tree is artificial and the lights are the bigger multi-colored ones, I think they are made of glass and they say indoor/outdoor use. I’m nervous, though, ’cause after only being on for a couple of minutes, they are almost too hot to touch! I don’t want to start a fire, although this seems fairly unlikely. Do you have any knowledge on the subject?
They get about as hot as a regular light bulb does. If they are the bigger, older ones anyway.
