For outdoor perimeter lighting, what are the advantages and disadvantages of using CFL vs. HPS?
Searches on the web have, so far, found only references to cannabis cultivation and advts for merchants selling fixtures and/or bulbs.
CFL= Compact Fluorescent Light
HPS= High Pressure Sodium light
HPS is higher voltage and very hot. CFL may not work in very cold weather.
