Can I make a habitat outside for my pet hedgehog?
Our hedgehog, Dimitri Dos, is a great little pet. We’ve had him for about a year. I hate to keep him in a cage all the time because he really seems to enjoy running around the house, with supervision. He also loves it when I take him outside to run around, with supervision. Obviously I can’t supervise him all the time that’s why I would really like to create a safe outdoor habitat for him in my garden I can leave him in on occasion. We do live in Texas but he seems to rather be around heat. I experimented with putting a heating pad under part of his cage and he always slept on the heated area. Anyway, I’d love to see the little guy have room to be a hedgehog.
